Telescoping Lock for Airstream Compartment Door

The rectangular face of this baggage door lock pops out when you turn the key. The face forms a T handle which you then turn to release the door. Behind the door there is a cam that rotates to engage the door jamb.

Compatibility: Airstreams from 1970 to 1976 used this "telescoping" lock for their baggage compartments. The set comes with one offset cam and one straight cam, to allow for fine adjustment for your trailer.

The back plate of this baggage lock is 1 5/16" x 2 7/8". The distance from the outside mounting surface to the front of the straight cam is 1 5/16" and the distance from the outside mounting surface to the front of the offset cam is 7/8" or 1 3/4" (depending on which way it is mounted on the shaft). The shaft is about 1 1/16" in diameter.
